As I am continually modifying and maintaining my Scamp as a full-timer, this week's project was to install rope lighting underneath. It's not hard wired; the same extension cord that feeds the battery trickle charger is used to plug it in. Maybe I'll hard wire it in the near future!

You have just created the first Scamp with Ground Effects.
Now all you have to do is add some nice 22" rims and electric shocks so you can lower Your Scamp to the ground.

PS: I really do like the Rope Light Modification.
PPS: If you do permanently mount the lights, you might consider adding a dimmer in the circuit to control the brightness.
