Subaru Outback 2011, 2.5 L engine, 13ft scamp

Will my Subaru pull a new 13ft Standard Scamp?  What is the tounge weight and what is the empty weight?  Approximately?

I live in the Pacific Northwest,  Mountains all around.

I will need to add a trailer hitch as well.

I have a 2011 OB with the same engine and CVT. I have pulled a S-13 in the NC mountains up to about 4K feet and it did OK. Most of my towing was flatland towing and it had no issues. You will need to buy 2" hitch, 7 pin jack, brake controller, wiring adapter and a brake controller wiring kit from E trailer. The car is not set up for towing so you have to buy and install everything. (Parts est. $400.) A S-13 with a single tank, you can get to a tongue weight ot 200 lbs. which is the OB,s tongue weight limit. I once towed a S-16 and that was too much trailer for the car. Bottom line, the car will tow the trailer but it there are better vehicles to do the job. Normal mileage is about 30 MPG,  towing 18-21 MPG
