Coming Soon......
On our website development schedule is another benefit to our Lifetime Members. There will be a private "lounge" area of the Forum where you can hang out with other "Lifetime Members." There you can have private discussions with your Fellow Lifetime Members where your posts are not visible to the general public. It is kind of a "Club within a Club." We mainly are doing this to help keep the intimacy of the original 200 Club Members who have been faithful to SOI through the years. There is no SOI without our members and we appreciate you!
I love this idea and look forward to chatting with others.

Ooooooo, I feel special....I'm #168 well within the original 200, but Lily is not as I had little Mitzi at the time. Do I get a Gold Star?? Just joshin' Hey, maybe a Gold Badge. No no...I'd like it to be Platinum.

Joy's post brought up a question about our Lil Citter. We were SOI #853 when we joined. I was so proud to be a member that I put it top center on the rear of her. Sort of like the BIG SILVER DUDES you see cruisin the roads. LOL
Can we leave the number there or is the "new" SOI doing away with or changing old member numbers?

Bob to answer your question, the original SOI Member #'s are grandfathered in for the life of your membership. Leave that number in place on your Airs***** oops, I mean your 13 Scamp, it will always be yours.

Of course you two are special! I tell you what....we do not have gold stars or platinum badges, but we do have SOI patches. If you and Lily make it to the Quartzsite gathering in February, we will give you one - award you one - bestow upon you one....maybe even have a special ceremony in your honor. lol!

I'll even let you kiss my ring and curtsy.
It doesn't look like we'll be there even though I really would like to. I just don't have the time for going such a long way. Too much on my plate these last 2 years and actually through this next summer. The only gathering I'm thinking about is the King City rally if it's going to happen in May.
I didn't add my SOI# to my Scamp as I gave it a name courtesy of my little nephew at the time. So my Trailer has it's name front and rear over the windows. However when I got my SOI#, those many years ago, I ordered a blank tire cover and painted the SOI logo on it with my #168. It's still there looking good. I knew tires tend to bleed through tire covers so I just simply put it over the original cover.
