Well it turns out the hinge wasn't broken. The force from me getting snagged on the screen door handle must have jammed the part that holds the door about a centimeter away from where it is supposed to be. I loosened the screw and slide it back out and got it to where it was before. I thought it was broken because I couldn't get the door hinge set back into place. It's good to know how that part works because it was still tight in place after it moved so at first I didn't think to check that. 

I do however have an email out to Scamp to ask about screen door hardware since that seems to be lacking on their products catalog. Every other door hinge and handle you can buy the parts for but not the small parts for the screen door. I'll post their reply if I get one.
