Rivets and tires

I am going to attempt to replace rivets.  I looked on forum and has information on rivet gun.  Can someone tell me what to buy exactly?  Also I will be replacing tires.   Any all advice welcome!

Youtube

Go to Youtube and type in Pop Rivet. There are videos to show how to do it. I bought a gun and a box of assorted rivets at Harbor Freight but all hardware stores have them.. Practice on some scrap first. It's easy. There is info on this site for removing old rivets as well.

Good Luck

Pop Rivet Gun

I purchased the following Pop Rivet Gun recently and was quite surprised with the quality. I have owned several throughout the years and this is the highest quality Pop Rivet Gun I have ever used.

TEKTON 6555 Rivet Gun with 40-pc. Rivets

PS: the rivets that come with the gun are not too high of quality, so I would probably not use them on your Scamp.

As Always,

Happy Scamping !!!

Same Rivet Gun

I've used this same rivet gun for years. Awesome choice.

As an old aircraft mechanic,

As an old aircraft mechanic, I used the Marson No. 39001 and it is fantastic for pulling any rivet in the Scamp. I was specializing in sheet metal as a mechanic, prior to flying the jets for the company. The Marson gun is top notch.
