Did the unthinkable this week and left awning up and not tilted for water drainage. No rain in the forecast, which I know is a lame excuse. So when I woke to some thunder and a light rain, I lay there thinking about getting up to retrieve the awning too long. Even a light rain is too much. I did major damage to the awning, bent the front, broke joints, and popped off a leg and bent extra removable truss. Does this disaster get fixed with parts or do I just have to replace the whole thing? The brackets, fabric and retrieval system are in tact. The guy camping next to commented that all I had left were spare parts.

Repairs to 16 ft awning possible?
As long as it didn't tear the brackets out of the fiberglass causing extensive fiberglass repair, most if not all, awning parts can be ordered from the manufacturer. Scamp uses a common awning brand. I'd start with a call to Scamp Trailers parts dept and identify what they stock and awning manufacturer for your trailer. They can probably direct you to the right place to call 800.346.4962. Since it is a standard brand awning, most RV repair places can probably provide an estimate to repair.

If you have a Catalina 2500 parts are hard to come by but some are available. I think the 2500 has been diccontinued. I had a 2011 S-16 with a Catalina 2500 and I had to make parts to repair mine. Shortly after 2011 not sure exactly when Scamp switched to the Fiamma F45 Awning. Fiamma builds and has a parts facility near Orlando Fl. Fiamma has a pretty good IPB on line. I have contacted them online but they are sometimes a little slow replying. They also have dealers who can get you the parts you may need.
