Refrigerator

My husband has a 16 ft Scamp (year 2000).  He's got the one with the kitchen on one side, 2-seat dinette opposite the kitchen & the bathroom in the front.  He tells me that the refrigerator never worked; he didn't realize it until he'd driven it from MN to CA.  Has anyone replaced the refrigerator?  Is it a big deal or pretty easy/straightforward?  THANKS!

Frig ?

Best try to fix it first. Does it work in any mode? Gas, 115V Elec. or 12VDC? Any yellow powder in the rear? Did you ever small ammonia?

Frig

The Scamp belongs to my husband.  He lived in it full-time for 7 years before we met and after that we've always lived in a house.  It's been 11 years since it's been lived in and he's going to tow it to our home next month.  He tells me that it never worked and I've always taken that at face value.  I'll ask him which mode he tried..... He was parked on a horse ranch and had a LLLOOONNNGGG extension cord for power..... does that help?  Maybe it would work in a different mode......?  Also, he never mentioned ammonia smell, but I'll ask.  Thanks for taking the time to write.

Fridge fix

Yes, let's see if we can make sure it's done before you replace. They're a pricey item and many times can be fixed.
