Recessed Glass Stove Cover Retrofit

I found a discussion about this on the Escape Forum and I have not seen installed one. Suburban is now selling recessed glass stove covers. It appears you attach the correct model Suburban range to the bottom of the cover. Really looks nice and it looks like it comes for use with the later model 2, 3 and 3 burner fold top ranges. The covers all sell for less than $100 each. The link is for the 2 burner glass top and recess assy. ,not the range. Scroll down on the link and they have the other covers for the 3 burner ranges.

Flush Mount

I'm looking at this real close and may try it. It's a bit confusing exactly which suburban stove is used, but the flush mount pan and glass cover runs about $70 and the stove is around $90. So from scratch ur looking at about $160 plus labor to go to a flush mount 2 burner mod. In my 13 Scamps this would most likely interfere with the drawer under the stove, I think it would work great in my 19 in a 3 burner configuration, I'm taking a look at that this week to see if it would work.

For the 2 burner you need two pieces:

Pan n cover  $70

2 Burner stove Think it is this stove - not sure, but also possible that the existing stove in the Scamp will fit the flush mount pan but will have to check dimensions and compare.  $90

Three Burner Option

3 burner Pan n cover  $104

3-burner stove   $125

3 burner

I have not been out to my trailer but I have the 3 burner Suburban with the big metal cover. A nearly flat surface would be a great addition compared to my current folding metal cover. Like you said on the recessed models the issue mav be the drawer.
