We're pretty sure we are going to have to miss Quartzsite this year,tho our plans were to go for the first time. Since son had to have unexpected surgery two days after we arrived at his house in Ks on Sunday Dec 20th then another surgery on New Years day,and now has a staff infection in his back,I think we will be here for some time,since we are all he has to help take care of him,and he has to go thru about a months worth of daily antibiotic injections,but as soon as this is all over,we will be looking for the next meeting somewhere.Its tough when you have a new Casita sitting at home in storage 1500 miles away at home and we cant even take it out for a nights camping :-)

Launey and Earlene,
You take care of your son and don't worry about anything else. We'll miss you if you can't make it, but will see you at the next event. We continue to pray for him and his recovery.

Yes its a sure thing that we will not make it this year.Son just had 3rd surgery yesterday and I just know his recovery is going to take some time,thank goodness we're retired :-)...This time round they are not closing him up just leaving it open with a back vac attachted.I sure dont want to see that thing,I am a camper! Not a nurse but we are managing it..I have to find some humor in all this...poor Casita is sitting in storage back in Vegas and missing all this 1 degree temps we are having in Ks
