Not sure if this is normal or do I have a propane leak? I have a gauge on my single 20 pound propane tank. When the value is open the gauge reads half full. When the value is closed the gauge will read zero in about five minutes. Is this normal or do I have a leak? Did a leak check with soapy water on the tank fittings and no leaks found near the tank. I have a scamp 13,
Never used the tanks with guages, but from what I've seen and heard of them I wouldn't go by anything they said. If you've leak tested all the fittings and your tank isn't emptyin while in storage, you're fine.
