Power outage

Hello,

I was working inside of my Scamp in the middle of winter, I ran a hairdryer for heat, then I turned on another hairdryer to dry some glue that caused a power outage.  SOOOO,  the outage was caused my the power cord running from the house??? it is a #16 cord.  If that is the problem what number cord should I use?

Thanks,

Hairdryers

Two hairdryers at once! That could blackout a major city.

The extension cord I used to hook my Scamp to the house if needed was never higher than 12 ga and usually a 10 ga. 16 ga would be very light duty, but your fuses in the Scamp probably would blow with two hairdryers running.

If you do the mouse hole conversion to a removable power cord, the 30A cords are 10/3.

Oh, no, blackout a major city...that's funny.  Ok, one hairdryer at a time.

So I should get a #10 cord?

If you do the mouse hole conversion to a removable power cord, the 30A cords are 10/3.   WHAT does this mean? do you have pictures?  I want to do things right.

I've done a lot of work/mods on this little old Scamp since I got it in August, in spite of it's good condition when I got it. I'll send pictures some day soon.
