Man that is one good looking tow arrangement. I see now what you mean by raising the height. Still, our axle is in great shape and we can see the top of our tires when we are hooked up and towing.
Yes we bought a cancelation camper. We had wanted one and had a tear drop that we needed to sell. Sold the tear drop in a day..went and picked up the Scamp. Got it home...took off the hinges and buffed and polished them
We had a 2011 Standard 13 Front Bunk
We had a 16 ft Side Dinette w/Front Bunk

Started with a 16 and went to 13's. That's reverse two-foot itis
We towed our first Scamp with a Jeep Liberty as well. The new one looks great, wasn't that the inventory one that you snagged for Christmas? Congrats.

Yes, they do look great! Will that shine last?
I like that shine on those hinges as well, they look pretty neat
Launey and Earlene
I put some wax on them.
When I wax the trailer twice a year (spring and fall) I'll clean up the hinges with a little mothers mag and wheel polish.
I actually did the belly band around the center of the camper and it shined up the same way (look at my 2011 camper the band shines like chrome).
And the door "keeper" that holds the door open, I polished both of those as well.
