Hi Folks,

This is my first posting in SOI, so Hello to all you Scamp owners.  In the past my wife and I have had tents, a 1984 U-Haul fiberglass camper and an Aliner then back to tents , but have always been impressed with the Scamps (and their owners) that we have seen and met in campgrounds as we traveled.

In February 2021 we finally ordered our Scamp 16 (Layout 6) and hope to confirm the pick up date this week.  We plan on spending the first couple of nights at Ruttger's and then head north to the area around Voyageurs National Park, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area near Ely and then the Lake Superior shoreline (probably Tettegouche State Park).  Yes. we'll be taking canoes. We then will start driving south through Wisconsin and chase the turning leaves south.

I will probably be having lots of questions as we have not had a camper for over half a decade and I will appreciate any help that you folks can offer.  My wife has come up with one question already:  What size bed liner will fit the rear bed?  We will be traveling with our 2 small dogs and plan on leaving the rear bed set up full time, so she wants to make sure that we protect the cushions.
