Great!

Ellen:  You guys did a great job with the photos and narrative on your Scamp.  I can't remember, does your Scamp have a name?  Seriously, for anyone that is considering the 13' of even larger, you give a good account of what someone will be working with.  I do like that new cabinet color option that they are offering.  Very nice.

Thanks!

Thanks Snow Gypsy! We're pretty unoriginal - we call her Scamper.

Ellen & Scott,

Ellen & Scott,

I want to thank you for your full description with photos. It really helped me to make the final decision to buy a 13 ft. Scamp. My little Scampy arrived a week ago. I got one of the floor models which meant it was ready to go within a few days. I live in Northern California and decided the $1,900 for them to deliver it to me was what I would have paid to drive across country to pick her up. I love my new toy and look forward to many wonderful adventures.

Something I am wondering about is if you have figured out how to diminish the rather toxic odor which I think is the glue used on the wall carpet.  I put many dishes of baking soda around and open the windows in the day time. But, if you, or anyone else has suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

Congrats!

Congrats on your new Scamp! I had heard that the smell was from the fiberglass. It was really awful when we first got our Scamp, but has dissipated over time. We open all the windows and run the fan whenever we can to get ventilation - maybe that helped or maybe it just goes away in time.

Where do you plan on going for your first adventure with your Scamp? Such an exciting time to be the proud "parent" of a newborn Scamper :-)

Thanks Ellen & Scott, I guess

Thanks Ellen & Scott, I guess I'll keep doing what I'm doing. My first trip planned is next month I am meeting some friends at June Lake which is South of Lake Tahoe in California.  In July I am meeting my friend from kindergarten in Yellowstone and we will caravan to Glacier and Banff. What an exciting time and adventure.
