Pacifica towing 13 ft Scamp

We have a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Van Touring L, 3.6 L V6 24V VVT 287-horsepower (without the towing package).  The owners' manual maximum towing: 1500 lbs. We don't have the heavy-duty radiator & 220-amp alternator of the factory-installed Pacifica towing package.

We did order a Scamp, a 13 foot Standard Layout 1 (no bathroom). It's about 1200 lbs. We did order electric brakes for the Scamp, We added AC & heater & 1 propane tank. We are mindful about keeping the weight to the recommended trailer weight.  It's been hard to get an exact idea of dry weight with our particular Scamp configuration, and it will be a year before we actually get the Scamp.

We would appreciate any thoughts that you have about our vehicle towing the Scamp trailer. Does anybody have experience with using a Pacifica to tow this?

Thank you for any help!

you should be fine, the

you should be fine, the brakes are the biggest thing, with those you will be alright.  i towed a Scamp 16 with a Honda CRV (also rated 1500 lbs) and as long as you're not doing the Rocky Mtns or something like that you'll be fine.
