Here is a special invitation for our SOI members. Our Nor Cal Roundup welcomes all makes of fiberglass RV's.
Announcing the Northern California Fiberglass Gathering
We’ll be headin’ up for this year’s Sixth Annual Nor Cal Roundup from
September 4 - 8, 2014, at Pioneer RV Park in Quincy, California.
The Park is situated in the mountain community of Quincy at the 4300 foot level. Organizers have worked with park owners and able to reserve 22 sites for $31.50/night. Some of the sites are longer and will accommodate two of our smaller trailers. These fees are “out the door” and include taxes. All sites are level, pull thru, and have full hookups. The park is tree covered and many of the sites include a lawn area. Restrooms, showers, and laundry room are on site. There is an RV dump station. Pets are welcome, although there is a restriction on dog breeds. There is no extra charge for pets.
The park includes a group meeting hall with a large screen Satellite TV, which is reserved specially for our group while we are there. Good news! They have a coffee maker for those who want coffee at all hours of the day!
The area around Quincy offers opportunities for sightseeing, fishing, and hiking.
We will start taking reservation deposits after April 15, 2014. A refundable deposit of $20 per rig is required. We will send further information on making deposits as we approach the April 15 date. Earl A. is our wagon master and will be taking deposits. If you have questions or comments, you can contact us through the personal message (PM) service of this website.
We hope to see you in Quincy,
Earl, Wagonmaster
Michele and Alan, Trailbosses
P.S. We have pictures of the park if you are interested.
Nor Cal Roundup - September 4 - 8, 2014
Reservations are now being accepted
Reservations for the Nor Cal Roundup are now being accepted. A refundable deposit of $20 per rig is required. If you are interested in receiving a deposit reservation form and where to send a deposit, you can contact us through the Personal Message (PM) service of this website.
Please do not contact the park directly. We have the spaces reserved in our name and will provide the park with your name before you arrive. Upon arrival, you will pay the special rally fee of $31.50 per night. At that time we will issue a $20 deposit refund. These fees are “out the door” and include taxes. There is no extra charge for dogs.
Individual spaces in the park can not be reserved, however if you have a mobility problem, the park will do their best to locate you in a handicap space or a space convenient to the clubhouse or restrooms. All sites have full hookups. The fees are for 2 adults per rig.
When you send your deposit, please let us know the number of nights you will be staying. Our event includes the nights of September 4, 5, 6, and 7. Should you desire to come earlier in the week, or stay a day or two longer, you will need to make those arrangements directly with the park.
Restrooms, showers, and laundry room are on site. The park includes a clubhouse that is reserved especially for our use while we are there. The club house is equipped with large screen TV with Direct Satellite service, a DVD player, a stereo with CD player, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and sink. There is also an RV dump station. The park has free WiFi.
Pioneer RV Park is located at 1326 Pioneer Road, Quincy, CA. You can access their website at: pioneerrvpark.com. We also have our own pictures of the park. If you have more questions, you may reach us through the PM service of this website.
We hope to see you in September

Hey Earl,
Your dates are the nights of the 4th through the 7th.
What happens to someone like me??? I'd be coming in on the 4th Thurs. but I'll only be there 3 nights leaving on Sunday the 7th, one night short of your gathering dates. How is the campground going to handle that. Are you committed to the 4 nights for all of us???
I thought about coming in on Weds, but I don't want to complicate things and deal directly with the campground plus PA is not valid until the following week and I would not be paying the group fee. Consequently, Lily and I are going to travel via Lake Tahoe and highway 89, so we'll be at Martis Creek campground out of Truckee probably the nights of the 2nd and 3rd.
