New old guy

with a scamp since this spring. My wife, I and the dog  have been out twice: once to Palouse Falls state park (WA) and then  to the Pend Oreille National Wildflife Refuge, which is just a few miles from my home in NE Washington  state.

The little shake-out camp trips were interesting with no real surprises and I found that the Scamp tows well with my 4 cylinder Tacoma even in the mountains. Sure glad I have the maunal transmission.   I truly love the shower!! The other half surely enjoys the other half ot the bathroom.

Everytime I look at the Scamp parked next to my lawn  waiting for the next trip it brings a smile to my face thinking of all the places I'm going to drag that baby to. We like dry camping and my area is teeming with National Forests, a quite large National Recreation Area and hundred of miles of back roads where camping is free and the traffic is extremely light.

I have already learned a bit here and hope I can contribute somewhat in a hopefully positive light for the website.

Wade..
