Just replaced my door lock assembly with the paddle style
If anyone needs a complete setup from a 2016 (most likely the same from the beginning of time)

Art and Luann, I too want to replace the standard lock on my 2016 13' - but am somewhat intimidated by cutting the fiberglass. Can you share the details of the process?
What lock did you use? Standard RV lock? How did you add to the door thickness?
I would at least like to change the KEY.

annie.coyne, the guide I went by to change the lock is in the forum in SOI, but it is not for the weak of heart. Cutting into the door is very nerve wracking and a certain McGuyver-ism is needed to make everything fit. For instance the strike plate outlined in the forum was made by a fellow that had access to welding equipment. When I went to a local welder he wanted $75 to weld a 6-1/2 inch piece to an 3/4 inch piece.....I found a substitute for $3.50 at Lowes that works fine.
