Hi, new to this list and appreciate all the information, I got my 13 foot Scamp end of December, has the shower/bathroom. Went on a trial run in April and decided a memory topper would make the bed more comfortable. Wondering how many of you use one of those or if there are other recommendations? Not sure where to store during the day since the bed makes into a table. Will have my rabbit and bird with me so not much room. Planning a trip very soon. Thanks..Ginger
,If you are handy with a needle, cut your mattress topper into pieces corresponding to the Scamp cushions and make covers. Preferably some lightweight material with some stretch. Make the covers loose enough to slip on the pieces, so if you need to, you can toss them in the wash. Put the outside pieces under your seat cushions and the middle sections will lessen some of the square back discomfort in your booth when you are in table mode.

We ordered a 4 or 5 inch memory foam topper for our 13 footer. We intend to keep the bed set up instead of breaking it down each day. We ordered the front bunks and will eat there when we are not dining outside in our screen tent, which we hope to do most of the time.

The post seems a lil bit old, but I wanna continue it again because maybe my reply help other people, I recently bought a mattress topper from Nest Bedding Coupon, because I saw a huge discount offer there, and after receiving my parcel I was really happy to see the topper quality, its really quite good. If you wanna buy in future once must check there.
I had a ‘13 for several years and did put memory foam on top of the cushions. Big improvement, quite comfy.
I didn’t store it because I left the bed out full time, no table. That was ok cause picnic tables at campsites were good, and breakfast in bed isn’t that bad either.
i did recently order a ‘16 scamp so I could have a small table inside for coffee and crossword puzzles.

We cut the foam to fit the curve top and bottom, made a mattress pad into an envelope to contain the foam, and modified top and bottom fitted sheets and a bedspread to fit the "table topper." The bed gets rolled and secured with velcro straps and stored anywhere convenient during the day. The hardest part about bedtime is keeping the dog off until the bed is ready.
