Hi everyone

we just purchased a 2002 13' and we're replacing the standard fan with a new maxxfan 14x14 opening. The instructions say if your roof is thinner than 1 1/8" you need to add additional support and build it up to these minimum measurements. Does anyone have any experience with this?  We talked with scamp before purchasing this unit from them and didn't get any indication of this modification to the roof support. I'm concerned that we'll be even more prone to knocking our noggin on the roof if this protrudes downward. Thanks for any help you all may have.
