Hi new here.
I need a 16 or a 19 w bathroom. Was looking at 16s for a while until I came across the 19. Am I correct in thinking the overall length of the set up (front bumper of my truck to the rear of the scamp 19) is the same or very similar to pulling a 16? I came to this conclusion after seeing how they are attached to the tow vehicle. It's like the extra 3' of the 19 is absorbed into the 5th wheel setup, whereas the 16 has a hitch etc taking up the space. The 19 looks like it stacks the bedroom over the space already taken up by the 16s tow apparatus. Anyway, thank you. I look forward to finding the 19 that's perfect for me.
Yes, the 16 and 19 take up the same amount of parking space in a parking lot. We like the fact that we can pull into a parking lot and just take 2 spots with our combination without sticking out into the aisles. We have the 16, but the 19 would not take any more space. Interestingly, the 16' only has 13' of cabin, whereas the 19' actually has 19' of cabin.
There is a 19' Deluxe just posted on the fiberglassrv site in GA. Nice looking camper, we just camped with them 2 weeks ago.
