Yes, Greg. I keep planning and plotting. I just found some Camco things on Amazon today that have a 15% off coupon so I've got more stuff coming in to start my RVing adventures. Can't tell you how much I appreciate all the comments you and a few others on this site make that alert us to things we will need to do, tricks to make things easier, etc. I'm thinking I'm going to get that phone call soon -- if I remember right it will be from a Dave at Scamp!
Hoping your adventures are wonderful,
Sue

LOL. I think these trailers cause more online purchasing than anything going. Best advice I can give you is when you get it go Scamping, a lot! You'll find that some things you thought you'd need you don't ever use and things will pop up as you Scamp that you'll really want and use.
I remember our very first trip in our 81 Scamp 13 after I'd spent months remodeling her and thought we'd thought of everything. We got the toddlers asleep in their bunks and crawled into our bed for our first night. Of course, we poured a glass of wine to celebrate. Then we went to set our glasses down between sips and there was nowhere to put them conveniently when you were in bed. When we got home, I went out to the garage and added a pull out wine table over the microwave.
Everyone Scamps differently, but until you are out in the wild you won't discover weird stuff like the wine table, which probably turned out to be one of our most used mods over the years. From that experience, when we had our 19 Escape built not long ago, we had them add a flip up table in the bed area which is now our "wine table."
What a terrific set up! Gotta tell you that I wish I had your mad skills. I believe my contractor, Steve, is going to be hearing fun requests with me. Thank goodness he's used to me calling with unusual requests (he says I'm his only client who has ever called with a "Honey, do" list). Soon after I get mine I'll be living in it for quite awhile. So right now all I'm really thinking about is the basics of how to use it to live and work out of while taking my 2 cats along. I figure that will be a crash course in figuring out what works for me -- I'm hoping I discover things that will work for my set up, like your "wine table" and then over the harshest part of winter I'll be calling Steve.
Hoping your adventures are wonderful,
Sue
