Does Scamp still make their bed, table and hatches out of cardboard? It looks like glued together paper pulp! Mine have all warped and crumbled. I've replace them all with 3/4 plywood. We use the bed as only a bed, so made that piece about eight inches longer. I put a couple holes in the end and middle to string rope handles through the HEAVY! boards. On the bench hatches too. The original holes let roaches through.  I painted all the pieces with Killz to keep the mold down.  I also found openings at the rear bases of the benches at floor level, and the front of the passenger side. Filling those up with expanding foam. (I had stuffed them with foil previously.)  We just cleaned the whole thing out after it sitting for over a year and the roaches had infested it pretty bad.  That and the Florida heat and humidity have made it a cleanup project.
