Going to LAST post in a thread?

Is there a way to go directly to the last ( most recent) post in a thread? I see in the index that the name and date of the most recent post is listed but see no tab to take me to that post?

If there are multiple replies in a thread there is a "last post" button at the top when you click into the thread. If it is a multiple page thread there is a page navigation at the bottom of the thread as well with all the options.
