I would like to store my 13 ft Scamp in my garage which only has a 7 ft door. So i need to temporarily reduce height by 4-5 inches to get it through the door. Deflating tires does not give enough clearance. Any creative ideas out there. Has anyone tried putting smaller tires on just for storage. Thanks

Fitting Scamp in Garage
I have the same issue but just going to make door larger. Was thinking of using smaller tires and rims the kind used on snowmobile trailers that would give me 3 inches then take Maxxfan off for another 3 inches that a total 6 inches. Good luck !
Have Scamp will travel !
How low would the Scamp be on bare rims? It might be risky, but you could get a 2d set of rims if you don't want to use the only ones you have. Or Maybe a car dolly would work.
I've got two garages with 7' doors. :-(
Here is a posting where they used Golf Cart Rims to lower their Scamp enough to fit inside the garage:

Also, be sure your Garage Door fully opens, sometimes, you can gain another 3-4 inches by adjusting the Garage Door Opener.
As Always,
Happy Scamping !!!
Love the golf cart tire idea. Think i may try that. Thanks for all ideas. May someday break down and spend $ to put in taller garage door.

Check the door opening as mentioned above. I've seen where folks can get a few more inches by using clamps to hold the door at the maximum opening.
