We're heading out tonight for our first 2 day adventure in the 16 Scamp. Not far from home staying at Belfair State Park, WA. I must say the Scamp is so easy to load and get ready we love it!

Oh, the initial "shakedown" trip in the trailer is always interesting! That is when you start to learn what you needed to bring and didn't....what you brought but never use....what little niggly thing is broken in the Scamp that you were unaware of, etc. Each time you go, you learn more and more. Have a blast Scamping!!

We had a wonderful first time outing and are very excited to plan many more! Only thing we discovered the dog cannot sleep with us not enough room...Poor thing ;-)

one does have to decide how to allot space. we are camping with two Boxers, one at 70 lb and one at 85. It takes a bit of convincing to get them to get up on the bunk bed and not on "our " bed. but they seem fine with it. I moved from a 28 foot Itasca sundancer with two slides to my 13 footer. lots of changes. but great fun.
Philip, I think with Boxers one takes what space they let us have. We have 4 and I still can't figure out where we are all going to fit in our Scamp 5er . It's definitely an adventure where Boxers are involved.

Congrats on the purchase. I am picking up my 13 ft august 18th. It should be a fun trip back to Utah.
