Finally Scamping
Congrats on your new Scamp.
I would love to hear how the tow went. Did you use the Ford Escape? Do you have the v6?
My Scamp is currently on order and will be ready in January. As a new owner, do you have any input about dealing with Everland's?

driving from Bakus to Missoula Mt we averaged just under 15 mpg. We have a 2010 v6 Ford Escape. Normal mileage would have been 24-26. Found 60/65 mph felt safest. Especially when windy

We too have a 2011 Ford Escape 6 cylinder and we average 16-19 mpg while towing. I was told the 13 inch tire is limited to 65 mph. We are next year replacing the Escape with a Ford Truck, 3.6 Ecoburst Turbo, rated to tow in excess of 9000 pounds ! The transmission in the Escape is on the small side, a cooperative effort between GM and Ford. The larger tranny in the truck will make it a breeze to handle the mountains out west .
