Chemicals in toilet?

We just picked up a 2016 16' scamp with a marine toilet.  Do you need to put any chemicals in the toilet?  We drove to MN from NH to pick it up in one week.  I wish we had taken more time.  We did check out everything to make sure it was working properly but we have not used the toilet yet.

Odorlos

I've tried most all treatments and ended up using Odorlos. Not the cheapest or easiest to find but it works best for me. I usually add water to the tank to just cover the tank bottom. If you add the chemicals with the tank empty the chemicals just run down to the bottom of your drain tube and don't work as well. If you have a sewer clean out at your house and can flush out your tank with fresh water after each trip it really helps.

By all means, get packets of

By all means, get packets of chemical treatment for the potty. We get ours at Camping World, and a box of packets last a couple of years at least.
