Hi all, I have a new to me Scamp 16, layout 6, and we want to enlarge the bed by removing the fiberglass divider between the bed and the side dinette. Anyone done this? Is it actually structural, or can it go? Many Casita 16' owners (used to have one) removed theirs and reported no problems. Thanks much.

Well, since no one has responded, I will venture my guess. Based on what I know of the other layouts, I would say no. There is no other support for the roof on that side of the trailer other than the bathroom wall way up front. I wouldn't risk it. That said, a call to the factory could be the final say.
