Cabinets on a 13 Scamp Standard

What are your thoughts on the cabinets in the 13 Scamp standard.

1) I get either front or back as standard (or with the option package....anyhow, I get one). Where should I put that one? Looking at pictures I didn't know which one was more of a head hitting hazard, in the front for my daughter who will sleep on the top bunk, or in the back by the dinette where maybe I'll hit my head? I'm 6'0"

2) For a reasonable amount like $150 or $160 I can add two side cabinets or one more in front or back, i.e. if I picked my standard one in the back then I could add the front one too for a decent price. Thoughts on which are best here?

Oh, also, I have never been inside a scamp, any ideas on how I could see the inside of one without going to the factory?

Thanks!

Cabinets

In the rear the side cabinets are easier to get into.To get to the rear cabinet you have to reach over the bed or table. I usually make my own open shelf to go between the two side cabinets. I store bedding on the open shelf.  No problem with hitting my head on the rear side cabinets. The front mounted cabinet is easy to get to to store stuff. With the goucho up it might be a little tight if someone is using the upper bunk. No head bumping issues with normal seating but if you plan to to make a front dinette later you may have a head bumping issues.

In regard to seeing a Scamp,

In regard to seeing a Scamp, the best bet is to attend a rally so that you can see a variety all at one time, and go back and forth comparing them. Next best option is to give Scamp a call. They maintain a list of folks local to you, who have agreed to let potential buyers check out their units. Most of the fiberglass manufacturers do the same if you are interested in comparing.
