2014 13' Scamp door adjustment

we are noticing that our door is slowly becoming out of adjustment, there is about a 1/4 inch gap on both sides of the bottom half of the door. the bottom hinge caps are a little loose but we are not able to tighten them. The door doesn't look centred on the opening anymore. Any suggestions are helpful we are on the road and about as far away from Bacus as we can get!!!! Thanks in advance

1/4" should not be a problem,

1/4" should not be a problem, unless road water is getting in. A quick fix to close the gap would be to add a strip of (self-stick) foam tape along the bottom (and bottom sides, if needed).  I did this for years, until the gap got be more than 3/4".

door adjustment

Thank you for your reply, maybe I was unclear the problem isn't the gap as much as the cause of the gap the door needs to be adjusted and there doesnt seem to be a logical way to do this. I think we will call scamp and talk to them.
