In about 6 months from now, I hope to have my new 13' Scamp. In the meantime, I was trying to figure out if there was any way a small microwave oven could be installed. My 13' Scamp will be a "Deluxe Wood" model with toilet and shower. From looking at some of the interior pictures, it looks like there really isn't any place to put one. Has anybody been creative and has been able to mount a microwave in a 13' Scamp? If so, where and what make and model microwave oven?

Well, Tom, not sure if it will help your dilemma since ours was an 81 13 Standard that I didn't mind cutting up. Modded it into the bottom of the closet and added a slide out drink table for lounging on the bed as well.

The microwave I have is discontinued by now (it was about 18" wide and very difficult to install without cutting fiberglass). They are making smaller microwaves by now and that should make it easier to install. My top shelve carrying the toaster-oven over microwave acts as a bracket with felt padding and the bottom of the microwave is sitting on four rubber carpet pads glued down to help keep the microwave in place.
