13' Doesn't Offer The 3" Lift

So I have been looking at photos of the 13' Scamp and was just at the website and it says the 3" lift isn't available on the 13'.  When I look at the 13', the top of the tire seems to hide behind part of the body of the trailer.  Now, when the Lincoln's air suspension needed replaced, it looked the same, the body hovering over the top of the tire.  I am confused as to why it is that way.  It looks kind of "broken down" that way.  The 16' always looks "perky" in the photos as does the 19'.   Does anyone have an explanation or clarification?

Trailer heights

The frames of the S-13 & S-16 are built the same, the S-16 frame is just longer. The S-13 axle uses 22.5 deg up angle axle. This lowers the trailer and the trailer does not require a step. With the shorter frame the rear bumper is high enough not to drag when crossing a standard driveway approach and the grey water tank and drain is located closer behind the wheel to be within the angle of departure. With the S-16 the bumper and plumbing is further back so to increase the angle of departure for better clearances Scamp uses a 22.5 degree down axle to raise the trailer for better plumbing and bumper clearance. With a S-16 the trailer is raised enough that I recommend ordering an entry step with a new trailer.

Thanks.

Thank you for the info.  I was just comparing the Scamp 13' photos to the Casita 13' with the high lift photos and the Scamp just seemed to sit so low.  It surprising what a 3" lift looks like.

a 3 inch lift is available

A  3 inch lift is available for $79. If you can change a tire...you can do this.
