I am not well versed with 12v power. I am learning about it. Are all the 12v outlets 'cigarette lighter type' outlets?
I have been reading about USB and splitters for 12v outlets.

12 volt-another newbie question
Ham radio operators use Anderson "power pole" connectors, and it is easy to add a usb socket to your scamp as well. Truck stops have splitters for lighter plugs.
For a good base understanding read through the solar resource section but particularly the 12V Side of Life Part 1 & 2 in the Battery section.

Yes, the extra outlets you order from Scamp are cigarette lighter type sockets.
For USB charging, I bought one of these from Amazon for $9, includes a volt meter to keep an eye on your battery.
