The 2014 rates are $24 per "Egg" plus tax for a shared pull-thru site. There are a few single sites up by the office and they will be $30 plus tax.. The sites are available from Thursday to Monday at the same rates. You pay for the number of nights you stay.
You pay the campground on arrival then check in with EggFest HeadQuarters on site #57 for your souvenir button, [re-ordered Tshirts, 50/50 tickets etc. There is no fee to register with us, we run the 50/50 to pay for our costs.
I will also need to know by early December who wants T-shirts with the new logo. They are $20 each but $22 for the 2X size. Requests made after that will be more costly, and all orders have to be in by the middle of April-no later. Those of you who have already ordered, your shirts have arrived and will be waiting for you.
Sites are pull-through shared - please let the staff lead you in. As the sites are shared, don't forget to bring a spare folding table if you have one, your 15/30 amp converter plug and a 3 prong, multi ended extension cord or bar, so two trailers can plug into each outlet and a hose splitter for the tap, to share water. There is off-site parking to make more room on your shared sites.
We will again have use of the Pavilion Friday and Saturday, where our BRING-YOUR-OWN-SUPPER will be held Saturday at 5pm, with door prizes/50/50 draw/ baby guessing prize/ games/ music etc. after supper Saturday. DOOR PRIZE donations will be gladly accepted.
There will be space for a communal campfire with a "pass the hat" bucket to pay for the wood.
There will be jam sessions Friday and Saturday nights (so bring along your instruments)at the fire or in the Pavilion in case of rain and cards in the pavilion. Bring along any outdoor games you might have.
Check the Agenda Board at HeadQuarters and list anything on the "Sale Board" you want to buy, sell, trade, or just get rid of.
The baby picture contest will involve bringing BOTH a baby picture and a current photo. I forgot that second part this past year, Sorry.
The MiniHouse Snoopers tour will take place Saturday.
We hope to have a Trouble Shooting Seminar again on Saturday morning.
For repeat guests, we don't know what we will replace the Bagpipers-2012 and the Winter Weather-In-May-2013 with for next year but we will try to make it exciting.
We have volunteers to help us co-host next year, so hopefully I can get out around a little more. We also have volunteers to get the buttons for us. See you in 2014 if not before.
