Low clearance tips

The 13' Scamp doesn't have a lot of clearance. Where we live in Salt Lake City there are lots of dips and gutters for rain runoff. We take them slow, but there is the occasional bottom scrape. We're about to head out for our first road trip so we have some concerns about dealing with the Scamp's low clearance. If you have tips on how to handle encounters of the low clearance type, we'd be glad to hear them.

Low Clearance

Taking those dips at an angle is better than straight on. Make sure your front jack is all the way up and if you use the jack wheel take it off while trailering. Hopefully your hitch is set up so the trailer is close to level (not down in front).
