Walking the dog and pedaling around our South Minneapolis neighborhood, I count six Scamp trailers within a one mile radius of where we live.
- One block north from us a couple with 3 cocker Spaniels just took delivery of a sweet 16' Deluxe. We introduced ourselves this morning.
- Someone else 2 blocks south has a 16' that he picked up used in Reno, NV last summer.
- There are two 13' to the north and east a few blocks.
- To the south and west of us we met a woman with a 13' who is on a quest to visit every state park in Minnesota. Her and her spouse are well on their way toward making that goal.
- We have 2016 13' standard for 11 months.
We have a 13' Deluxe and live in the Howe neighborhood of Minneapolis.
Are you guys planning on going to the rally at Black Hawk Recreation area in Wisconsin May 31-June 4?

Hi all: Black Hawk isn't in the scope this year as our planning for the summer/fall 2017 was already scheduled and booked. Mostly we are in the state with three treks out of state. Finally going to hike Glacier! Yea. Saw a number of Scamps on the road yesterday as we put ours away for the week. The rally that was in the state park near Mille Lacs must have been great! Mother Nature blessings were traveling with you. Perhaps next year we will make it. The events calendar on this site has drastically improved with sponsors and hosts posting "earlier" Thank you.
And yes, there is a growing number of Scamps in our neighborhood and a growing interest. We've had our unit for almost a year now and when asked about the most valuable addition. Hands down, the electric jack and the Clam. The mosquitos will be surfacing soon enough and I don't like bugs. Saying that, I'm treating my hiking pants, buying repellent and ready to head out again soon. Happy Trails! Barb and John

This season will be our 3rd. I have to wait a little longer to get out this year b/c we have a new puppy going on 5 months old. Waiting till all shots are complete. The 12th of this month then we will head out, but just in our state of Pa. till we see how he takes to it. One frisky cockapoo. No Scamps around my neighborhood, kind of scarce in Pa. Carl
Scamps in my neighborhood? I've never seen one in Connecticut, but there will be one here in two months!! I just finished a 2,000 mile motorcycle trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway and saw one scamp, a 13 footer in a driveway in Middleburg PA!

Tee hee hee. Tonight we will have two Scamps...in our yard! My husband is nearly home after driving to Dallas TX from Michigan to pick up a used 13' for a friend. We got lucky--it was a trade-in at a very nice dealership and my friend had to buy it sight unseen. The salesman said he was still getting calls about it from all over the country!
