We ares still learning our new 16ft Deluxe. On a recent trip we ended up at a site the was unlevel. The right side was a couple of inches lower than than the left. Even with the back leg fully extended we could not get it level> Any hints other than finding a more level site?
I saw a levelimg device on Amazon I looks like it would o the trick.
Any suggestions?

I have always used these leveling blocks. I find that not only are they easy and quick to level one side of the trailer, but they are very useful for stab pads, tongue jack pads, etc.

I have used the Red Anderson Leveling device and I love it !!!
It is very simple to use and reduces the need to add or remove blocks if you guess wrong the first time.
Not only does it do a good job of leveling the Camper, but it can also be used if you need to raise the Tow Vehicle to work under it.
I really recommend this Anderson Leveling system !!!!

Bal-leveler
I try to leave the door side alone. Only adjust the left side. Either raise it with 2X6 block or I dig a small hole with a small camp shovel then drop the left tire in it, what ever is needed. I do this so the step into the trailer is always the same height.

My Scamp manual says you can use the stabilizer jacks to do most leveling, but I'm pretty sure the guy at Scamp who walked me through my intro tour said not to do that. I've been using pieces of wood when Scamping - going to change that because wood gets too saturated and dirty - but wondering to what extent the stabilizer jacks can really be load-bearing. Does anyone use them to raise the trailer enough to put jack stands under, for winter storage, for instance? Or even (gasp) for leveling? (I'm talking 13' standard here.) Thanks for any discussion.
I use them for leveling all the time, always with wood under so they don't sink in, just not with the little handle. Bring the front end down slightly below level. With a level on the back bumper, extend the jack on the side that needs to come up. Crank the front until you have a right/left level on the bumper. Extend the other rear jack. Crank the front until level front/back. Voila! Time to get a beer from the fridge.

When we owned our Scamp we used a side jack that worked great for not only side to side leveling, it also greatly reduced the up and down movement when one walked on the floor.

Doug, Any recomendations on the best jack to use and did you put it in front or back> Seems the front could use a little more stabilty.
