Thank you

The Honda Pilot is looking better and better.  Definitely on our list.  Thanks!

Mileage

Meant to ask, what kind of mileage (MPG) do you get towing with the Pilot?

Consider a Mini Van

You could also consider a Mini Van, Lots of room for Daisy to stretch out (by removing or stowing rear seats) and be comfortable in the rear.

Mini Vans usually have car like ride qualities with larger engine options.

Plus the extra room really adds to your traveling comfort.

I am sure some models come with Factory Towing Packages.

As Always,

Happy Scamping !!!

Thank you

Mini Vans are now on our list to look into.  We owned one when the kids were small and hadn't thought about one as a TV.

We travel with a dog

We have a 2015 F150 crew cab which pulls our Casita like its not even there,we also have a dog who enjoys the bigger back seat and it rides smoother then our car,no kidding.Course it is a long tow vehicle at almost 20 ft and takes some getting used to but You also have room for all those most needed items one must take along on trips ha

Thank you.

The long TV is a problem for us right now.  Maybe later as we get accustomed.  We've always owned smaller cars.

We now have 2 very old cats,

We now have 2 very old cats, and when they are gone, no more animals, never. We have had cats for over 30 years, it's soon time for us and no animals!

Cats

Cats are special.  I think you will miss them but traveling with pets is probably a very individual thing.  We will be traveling with Daisy, our 18 month goldendoodle, once we get going.  Right now she is not crazy about even entering the Scamp so we have another pre-travel training to do.  Cheers!

Hope tow vehicle is OK

Looking for 3" Scamp. Have my TV..I hope:  20115 Chrysler Minivan, 3.6 ltr, v6, 283 hp, gvrb wt 4,652 lb  (don't know what this is). Do I need the brake assist, sway bars, cooler or any additions. I've never towed before & am getting very reluctant about towing a Scamp. I do camp in lower mtns of NC & ga so keep this in mind. Can't find anyone in this area to go look at a Scamp (never seen one) or talk with. HELP>
