Does the Scamp Trailer company even design a hitch system for the Scamp 19 that can allow a newer style Toyota Tacoma truck tow this trailer?

Tow hitch for newer Toyota Tacoma Trucks
I have seen several soft bed Taco's set up to pull Scamp 5ers. A frame is built and is attached to the bed bolts. Usually spacers or washers are used to to keep the frame just above the bed floor. Then a 5er hitch is attached to the frame. I have seen this done with both the older and the newer removable Reese hitch. I don't know if Scamp or the owner made the frame.

This used the old style bed hitch from Scamp. I no longer have the camper, I sold it to a nice couple from Georgia. I machined spacers from solid steel formed to the curve of the frame. I wouldn't recommend it. Go with a removable hitch and have it installed by professionals with the trailer there on site. In addition I beefed up the springs as well.
In answer to your question, I'm sure they don't make anything special for a Tacoma but you should call and talk to them, they are bound to have encountered the problem.
