I know some great check lists for preparing to tow, set-up, and depart have been posted in the part. but for the life of me I can't find them now that I want them.
Anyone have a good checklists they use so we won't forget something critical before we drive off?
Thanks

Ken,
Here is a pretty basic but fairly thorough checklist that one can modify to fit their particular situation/trailer. Some equipment may vary but a good starting point to create your own.

Congrats on the new Scamp! Be safe out there on the trip up and back. Are you going to Dally on the way home?

As Always,
Happy Scamping !!!
Funny. I'm a bit slow and tired. But our plans are open - other than a shakedown cruise around Backus, we are still undecided. Any suggestions on any camping sites close to the factory in case we need to return for any small issues?

I suggest you ask SCAMP re nearby camping. We stopped at the factory once for replacement of our axle, and they sent us south a few miles to a city park for the overnight. (You may want a fancier campsite.).
Some people have stayed at Rutgers Pine Mountain Camping Resort in Backus where they have trailer sites. It is just a few miles from the Scamp factory.

I stayed at two nights Rutgers Pine Mountain Camping Resort in late Sept last year when I got my Scamp. Its nothing fancy but a fine place to spend a few days on your shakedown camp, and very close to Evelands. They were starting the process of closing for the season when I was there so the owner was real busy. He's a good guy.
Thanks for the great info. Rutgers sounds like the ideal place. i assume they have pull thrus as we have never trailered before and would like to be able to practice a bit before backing it in.
