1988 Scamp Remodel

Well...I think it's an 1988, that's what they guy told me. When I looked at the VIN and tried using the code for it, it seems like it might be a 1977. Oh well! This is my first post; I'm new to this group but really happy to be here. I'm also not totally sure if this is where this post should be or if I should put the photos on here. I made an imgur gallery that kind of explains what I did and shows the before and after photos. If I should upload them to this post instead just let me know. :)

I bought it in early June this year and remodeled it for my birthday on July 9th. It's not perfect, alas, much like its owner. :)

Older Scamp

With square side windows it's pre 1982. The metal frame front/rear windows are mid- late 70's. My 76 has a metal frame rear window and rubber seal front window. Great progress on your rebuild.

IMPRESSIVE!

IMPRESSIVE!

Our '74 has the same side = jalousie windows.  But the front and rear window frames are rubber, not metal.

Thanks! Yeah, I think it

Thanks! Yeah, I think it probably is late 70's, which is fantastic. The windows may have been replaced in the past, I think.

Great! Thanks for the info. I

Great! Thanks for the info. I'm not sure about the windows, the guy who had it before me may have replaced them, of course the one with the window AC unit was altered, too.
