Escape ladders for Scamps

Hello,

First time out with my scamp and locked myself in. Could not reach the escape hatch nor could I get out the back window. Anyone else have that experience? Is there an escape ladder for the Scamp???

No ladder

Stand on bench then table top or counter and pull your self through the escape hatch. RV dealers sell compact folding ladders if needed. With a Scamp if you get locked in just unscrew the phillip's head screws on the lock and remove the lock to get out.

Escape hatch?

Picked up our 13 footer in Backus last week. Where is there an escape hatch? Does the fan somehow push out and is that the escape hatch?

Hatch

We picked up our 16 Deluxe last May and it has no hatch either. I remember looking at a similar trailer when we were thinking about placing an order last year and it had one. I believe it was a 2015 model.

I thought the back window looked a little easier myself and was glad ours didn't have the extra hatch when we picked it up. I guess the hatch was a design choice they made but never asked. I was also happy that they had just switched to the Maxxair multi-speed fan and really enjoy.
