Bill was it you that had the nice awnings on your 13ft Scamp down at Sedona? We really liked them,I think you said they had came from Camping world.If it was you,coulyou maybe tell us about what the cost of them were.Thanks Earlene

We do not remember the price. It is probably much different now as we put the window awnings on the "Lil Critter" more than 8 years ago. We needed to help the air conditioner when visiting our daughter in the desert close to Death Valley was why we originally installed them. However, we have found that the huge amount of privacy they give us along with the protection from rain entering our slider windows has made the little side awnings absolutely essential for us.
I am going to have to replace the fabric on the awnings as the UV rays here in our high altitude area is showing it's effects (cracking and peeling of the surfaces left exposed when they are rolled up). This time I am going to get the style that has the fabric protected from weather damage by a metal cover whenever the awnings are retracted for travel.

Thanks Bill,soon as we get back from this Ks trip.I told Launey we must get out to Camping World and check them out,if you have had yours for 8 years they must hold up pretty well,your daughters place sounds like the valley here alot and I know we would love to have them,just for the privacy they provide and they look so darn good on there:-) Enjoy your travels,will run into you again somewhere
