Removing lower front bunk bed fiberglass bench

Hi I am having some challenges  removing the  lower front bunk bed / fiberglass bench in the 16 ft scamp with the shower next to it   can it  be removed without taking the shower out ? I have pulled all the upper screws out as well as the lower side screws along with the pop rivets going to the shower stall . It is moving freely back and forth unable to lift it up at all , is it possible that there is a lip going under the sub floor ? The only way to take the subfloor up is by taking out the shower which I am trying to avoid if at all possible . The back benches and carpet came out easily by just removing the screws

Any info is greatly appreciated smiley

Thanks ,

Steve

Front bench

I have removed quite a few front benches and none have had a lip under the floor. I have seen the bench sealed with calking and silicone to the floor. They also get sealed/calked to the wall by the door. Also check the bathroom wall connection again, look in the bench access hole with a flashlight and see if you missed a fastner. There may be a pop rivet you missed under the bath overhang going into the face of the bench. Look under the trailer on either side of front section of the dropped floor. You will see the metal plate the bench front is pop riveted to. The pop rivets you removed you will see a hole. If there is a hidden rivet you should see it extending through the metal plate.

Thanks

Thanks Eddie ,

for your info I will recheck everything again maybe it is just the caulking on the bottom as it is pretty tight .

I will keep you informed on how things are going

Rivets

If I recall on my 13 there were two or three sneaky rivets on the inside at the very top of the inside of the front bench.  They were difficult to spot, but once I found them it solved it.

Success for front bench removal

After rechecking all the pop rivets and screws I came to the conclusion that I had not missed anything ,

it ended up that the sub flooring was swollen and fortunately I was able to wiggle the bench out .

Thanks again for each of your suggestions
