We were able to camp at the end of October at a state park an easy trip south of us - one of the few up here that remains open into late October. Hate to shut down the Scamp for the season, but we've got an April reservation to escape cabin fever in northern Michigan and start the 2016 season at Hunting Island, SC
We too so enjoy fall camping and ended our travel season at Kentucky Lake at Hillman Ferry Campground. It was a blast and is now the #1 Campground in the entire southeast of the U.S. ! Next spring to summer is northwest Arkansas. Not sure after that what will be our vacaction with the Scamp, but lots of weekend trips to Kentucky lake.
