adding 12V 15" TV to 13' Scamp

I'm wondering if others have added a small TV and how and where was it placed in the 13' Scamp

13" tv

i just got a 13" GPX and in looking at where /how to mount it, noticed it fits/sits perfectly wedged above the side window next to the closet (13' front bunk model)  it's not heavy enough to strain the curtain rod and the curved roofline tilts it at the perfect angle.  Since I mostly boondocks and will only use it at the occasional RV park with hook-ups, I'm leaving it at that for now

But I am interested in what others have done in the event of a future permanent solution :-)

We use ours as a portable TV.

We use ours as a portable TV.  If we are watching from the front bench seat, it is set on the table.  If the beds are made up, it is set on the kitchen counter (where we can watch it from both the front and rear bed).

TV in 13'

Here is a photo of how we mounted a TV in our 13' Deluxe Scamp. We can watch from the bed or from the couch up front. The mount is behind the lip of the rear cabinet and not so visible. The TV is on a folding mount but there is not enough room to actually fold it up. The mount does provide some range of movement. When the dinette is up there is still room for people to sit.

TV 13'

No surround sound (but you are giving me ideas)! If you are talking about what looks like black bars over the windows, those are black out shades rolled up on extention curtain rods.

Reading Lights

I'll bet it's those Scamp Reading lights that kinda resemble speakers.

So mine is a 2 tier shelf

So mine is a 2 tier shelf that holds 19" TV, Dvd and Sat box.   I lay all of them on the bed while in transit.  The upper shelf is attached to the window frames with "L" brackets and straight brackets.

Silly me, I said it the TV is 16".....not it's 19".

AXESS TV

I recently bought a 13-1/2" sreen LED TV with a DVD combo on Amazon. I found that one of the wall mounting holes in the back is centered and balanced fairly well, so I attached a D-ring and a picture mounting hook.

Then I hooked it on the cupboard above the bed.

I left the base on so I can set it anywhere else like the table or countertop. I use a "Clear TV" brand antena and works really well.
