thinking, planning, dreaming.. and I got an idea.
But I need the size of the rear OEM window on a recent model Scamp (16 Std). Also, am I correct that only the (right or left side) half is screened?
thanks

I have a 2013 16' Scamp standard.
I got 42" x 17-1/2" and the screen is on the driver's side.
Thanks kilovictor... and thanks for the pic.. maybe you were reading my mind when you posted that because I was also wondering about visibility through the screen. See, I am thinking of a static cling window sticker, but it might not show too well through the screen. Now… the name decals look nice (if one wants to name their tail lights hahah). Can I ask where the decals came from?
I found a site on the web where you can design your own lettering. It was easy and inexpensive.

I think the hardest part was tring to come up with the names!
You also have a taillight named Kenny and one named Diane!

Ok, now that was funny! LOL
Any Sign a Rama can do this as well, they have made all of our fun lettering signs.

One of the reasons that I think that personalizing on the outside is a good idea is that should the trailer be taken, it doesn't look like every other one. I have seen notices where a Casita has been stolen and they put the picture up. Seen one Casita? Seen them all more or less. I would also think it would be some what less desirable to take something clearly marked as to an individual. Of course, they could take the lettering off but not until they were away from the public areas.
Yes, there is insurance but we had a pop-up taken from our yard, hitchlock in place and we were inside the house, there is a "violation" there that insurance does not protect against.
Cathy
I know what you are saying about having something stolen Cathy...We had a 2007 t@b teardrop camper several years ago which we kept in paid storage unit out here. The hitch was locked and they could not put it on their truck so they tied it with a rope{this was all captured on vidieo } and they still managed to drag it a long ways before dropping it in the middle of a street clear accross town{ and Vegas is a large town} Anyhow the thing is,we had insurance which paid for all the damages and put it just like new again,But I never wanted it after that, its just the feeling that someone else had had it when it was ours. Now we pay much higher storage fees, but we have our new Scamp in another storage inside our own unit and our own key on the door, plus the gate at the front of the storage, the thing is,if they cant see it,they wont know whats in that storage area
