When we took my '04 13'w/bathroom to Backus last week to have a water heater installed, we saw some Scamps with gold decals and trim and at least two with black. Kent told us he was letting his son come up with some modifications, hence the black trim which looked sharp. We saw Rich and Val last weekend at Kathio State Park (MN) last weekend at the Scrambled Eggs gathering and their new 13' Scamp has gold trim and decals. So maybe there'll be more options on the road. Blaze orange, anyone?
Escape Trailers currently has 64 decal colors to select from. First choice you get presented with when you order. Good to see Scamp is allowing some selection in the building process. Go Kent's son.
I believe it is correct that Deluxe is gold and Standard is red. No decals would let one match a vehicle to the trailer which would be neat although it your color matches the red or gold, that looks good too. Doesn't have to be an exact match, just a complimentary color maybe that wouldn't be important to others but it would me. I would want the gold or none but I love the deluxe anyway. I have a dark metallic blue that sometimes looks green or charcoal, it's odd and I don't think matching pinstrips would help in some cases.

In the factory photos, some of the units have decals and others do not.
Why did you choose a Scamp without any decals (just curious)?

I thought the gold decals typically desginated a "deluxe" version, while red was standard.
If I were to order one new, I'd probably opt for no decals if possible.
