Eureka! I finally found my little 13' Scamp when a fellow answered my fiberglass-rv-4sale wanted ad last week! It has the options that I want and what it doesn't have isn't a deal-breaker. We'll drive from central MN to southeast WI next week to pick it up and I can hardly wait.
Here's a question from #1Guy - he's wondering what others are doing for storage and carrying of the battery and propane tanks on the front. We won't need that for bringing it home but he's been looking for options to make this an efficient and user-friendly dollhouse on wheels for me. Any pictures that you can share would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to being able to join up with some of the Scamp gatherings within reach of our area. Be forewarned, the guitar travels with me!

It's on my calendar, Doug, as well as one at a state park near Mille Lacs Lake just 30 miles north of us the first weekend in May. Can't wait to see what other scamp owners have done to make things work.
Great Marylin will be good to see you and your new to you Scamp. Lots of fun folks will be up there and sharing the joy of our Scamps. We have all new curtains and cushions in our Scamp, anxious to show all the work my bride did! Anxious for the trip to come about.

I placed that wanted ad on a Sunday early afternoon and got THE call within a couple of hours. How lucky was that after all this time spent haunting the Scamp and fiberglass-rv-4sale sites to no avail. Do you suppose it work that quickly if I placed an ad for Tom Selleck?

Well, if you managed to snag Tom too, it would be "cozy" camping in that 13 footer. I'm guessing you could live with sharing some closet space? It just blows me away that you got a call that quick and that says a lot for that website!
